Petra, the world wonder, is without a doubt one of Jordan’s most valuable treasures and greatest tourist attractions. It is a vast, unique city, carved into the sheer rock face by the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab people who settled here more than 2000 years ago, turning it into an important junction for the silk, spice and other trade routes that linked China, India and southern Arabia with Egypt, Syria, Greece and Rome.
Invisible pedestrian bridge - Ro Koster and Ad Kil Architects built this almost invisible bridge for crossing the defensive fortress in Halsteren, the Netherlands. The amazing sunken bridge sits within the water and slope surrounding the 17th Century Dutch fort and gives visitors a unique opportunity to walk through parted waters like Moses.
